ompany Description

  • Complete end-to-end planning, direction and co-ordination of the manufacturing processes
  • Evaluate and suggest recommendations on the manufacturing quality control processes, types of manufacturing methods to be adopted, list of processes to be followed, tooling, and suggest fixturing
  • Conduct research about the tools, methodologies and processes in order to recommend solutions to improve production efficiency
  • Calculate the workspace requirements and design strategies to utilize the space effectively
  • Calculate the production cost, time involved, and existing production resources to complete a proper estimate for presentation to the leadership team
  • Estimate upcoming manufacturing requirements and present results to leadership
  • Prepare estimations for projects including production personnel required, time involved, related costs
  • Facilitate project, including providing direction and training to production team members about workflow, creating layout for equipment needs, etc
  • Research and develop new methods of manufacturing processes to achieve maximum production capacity and efficiency
  • Analyze the manufacturing methods, production processes, and production schedule involved in delivering project. Prepare detais to all these details and submit to the management with statistical data which in turn help management to clearly identify the future requirements of manufacturing
  • Champion NADCAP approvals for the site’s nternal special processes
  • Participate in AS9100 / ISO9001 and Customer Product and Quality Management Audits;
  • Lead RCCA projects for processes and / or production part improvements
  • Establish and perform Special Process documentation and audits for the site’s special processes
  • Participate in Six Sigma (MPC), 5S, and Lean Manufacturing quality improvement initiatives
  • Generate and control cost of quality data
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Qualifications

  • Post-secondary degree / diploma in Engineering
  • Three to five years of relevant experience
  • Aerospace and Manufacturing experience required
  • NADCAP experience; AS9100 / ISO 9001 auditing and documentation experience is preferred
  • Desired Characteristics

  • Ability to read aerospace drawings and specifications
  • Adequate working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Well versed in Geometric Tolerance
  • Knowledgeable in the control and documentation of Special Processes
  • Analytical Ability
  • Good attention to detail, strong sense of urgency, results oriented; and capable of completing assigned tasks according to established written / verbal instructions
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office products
