Job Description for Systems Administrator I

Location

EuC Engineer / Supervisor / Manager

Position Description

Deskside support specialist

Qualification

Any Science / Technical Diploma or Graduation

B.E. / Diploma / Any Graduation

ITIL certification preferred

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide in-house support for End Users IMAC Support Provide resolutions for users and Business Applications Queue management -

Ticket creation / Categorization / Prioritization Ticket escalation to respective Support Group

Experience (No of years)

1-3 years’ experience in Deskside support.

Desired Skills

Good communication skills and customer management experience

Work experience with interacting with clients / team across the Globe..

Strong knowledge on operations / service delivery and ability to manage critical situations with minimum supervision

Good Analytical & Coordination skills are essential.

Basic Customer service skills

Basic understanding of Computers and Trouble shooting skills required.

Customer service orientation and ability to work in a team

Good interpersonal and communication skills

Customer service orientation and ability to work in a team

Excellent Soft skill, Communications skills(Voice & Email) to handle global customers

Ability to perform in adverse situations

Technical Skill

Troubleshooting skills on desktop and shrink-wrapped applications(MS office, Adobe etc) Troubleshooting skills on VPN connectivity, dial up , wireless routers Knowledge on active directory, domain controllers etc Exposure to password reset tools Trouble shooting skills and experience in handling Exchange(Outlook).

Knowledge in Printer configurations and application installation.

Management Skills

Skills in written and verbal communication. Skills in managing multi vendor environment and ability to work with various resolver groups in driving the speedy resolution

Mandatory Skills

Laptop / PC Imaging activities IMAC Request fulfilment PC / Laptop installation, configuration and Break fix Printer / Scanners installation configuration and Break fix Phone & Mobile devices installation configuration and break fix.

Level 2 / 3 support for PC, Printer, Scanner, Phone( Remotely unresolvable by Service Desk) Vendor Coordination Attending meeting with client and gathering project requirements Hands and Feet support for Data center Snow queue management ( review queue, self-

assignment of tickets , ticket closures) Mounting & Un-mounting Hardware’s in data center (Switch, Routers, Servers, etc.

  • Data center daily routine check and maintaining data center health check list register. Software installation at PC level.
  • Knowledge to communicate in Dutch language is preferable. Read, Write and Speak local language.
