Required Experience & Education

  • We will consider candidates who have : (1) a university degree; (2) a minimum of two years’ work experience in a sales and marketing role;
  • and (3) graphic design and Adobe InDesign education or expertise (e.g., college courses, diploma, or certificate).

    Accountabilities

    The successful candidate will energize and divide time between a few roles. Here are the roles, some accountabilities, and the (rough) percentage of time that we anticipate the successful candidate will dedicate to each role.

    Marketing Assistant (35%)

  • Coordinating our Building NewLaw podcast so that all episodes are seamlessly planned, recorded, and launched
  • Supporting Counterparts at events and speaking engagements including distributing marketing collateral, taking basic social media photos at events, and posting content on Counter’s social media accounts
  • Writing short website and social media copy related to BNL and other marketing content
  • Identifying and gathering information about different marketing opportunities
  • Sales Intake & Steward (35%)

  • Gathering prospective client intake information
  • Following up on prospective client consultations, retainers, and any other missing information
  • Scheduling prospective client meetings
  • Connecting with clients and monitoring relationship and client happiness (and taking actions to increase client happiness)
  • Marketing & Sales Knowledge Management (30%)

  • Creating step-by-step guides, templates, and other documentation on our internal wiki to help us record our marketing processes and knowledge
