    We’re looking for strong, dynamic and creative Millwright or Packaging Maintenance Technician to join our team. The right candidate will be a part of the Packaging Maintenance team a team consisting of various mechanical and electrical professionals who are passionate and driven to continuous improvement.

    Reporting to the Supervisor of Packaging Technical, the Packaging Maintenance Technician is responsible to perform packaging equipment size-

    change, repair, preventative maintenance, installation and modification as required.


  • Diagnose pneumatic, electrical hydraulic or mechanical problems and complete the necessary repairs, including the relevant documentation.
  • Perform size-change on packaging lines and prepare them for different product formats.
  • Make recommendations and implements improvements to equipment for productivity, safety and regulatory compliance.
  • Operate various machine shop equipment including : lathes, welding equipment, grinders and saws for the repairs or modification of packaging equipment.
  • Install and test new machinery in the Production and Packaging departments.

  • Minimum three years of industrial experience in the packaging or maintenance department.
  • Knowledge of and familiarity with Programmable Logic Controlled (PLC) Automation Systems.
  • Ability to work independently on improvement projects.
  • Ability to work with MS Office.
  • Experience with a blistering or a blister machine would be a strong asset.
  • Licensed Millwright (433A) would be an asset.
