The Role :

  • Processing benefits administration including STD and LTD claims
  • Ability to review and investigate disability claims
  • Calculate benefit payments accurately
  • Understand and apply the terms of the benefits plan
  • Dealing with insurance companies in relation to employee benefits
  • Communicating with the policy holders
  • Preparing cheques
  • Processing payment
  • Verifying invoices
  • Registering new employees for group benefits
  • Data Entry of STD and LTD claims
  • Processing claims and assisting members with inquiries
  • Provide Reception coverage as required
  • Filing and other administrative duties as required
  • The Ideal Candidate :

  • 2 plus years of experience processing STD and LTD claims
  • Strong communication skills verbally & written
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office : Word, Excel & Outlook; as well as AS400 systems
  • Detail oriented
  • Comfortable working within a fast-pace environment
  • Ability to follow office procedures
  • Salary is $16-$20 hour depending on experience.
