Description : Responsible for leading, coordinating, facilitating and developing programs and release for complete and timely product introductions and working with customers throughout the life of the relationship.
Plans the development of approved programs and releases and monitors program progress from project initiation through implementation and delivery.
Previous design responsibility on at least one complex ASIC, preferably for a mainframe or large server computer system.
Experience with frequencies over 100 mhz, gate court over 500 k gates, or I / O count over 600 prefererred.
Significant recent experience with design, test and validation of computers.
Working knowledge of computer architecture and logic design, including multiprocessing, cache coherency, RAS and high performance busses.
Up-to-date experience with ASIC development tools such as logic simulation, synthesis, timing analysis and layout.
Experience with multiple phases of computer development from concept to production.
Experience debugging or validating a complex computer in the lab.
Demonstrated ability to work successfully on a team of design engineers. Strong communication, organizational, negotiation and initiative skills.
Education : Requires a B.S. degree or equivalent with a minimum of 8 years related experience. An MS or MBA desirable.
