Responsibilities

  • Provide financial analytical support to the Divisional Controller in order to facilitate accurate and timely financial statements (including Key Performance Indicators and other managerial reports) and drive profitability improvement
  • Determining correct accrual amounts for production cost
  • Reviewing and analyzing production costs for accuracy, and making adjustments if necessary
  • Prepare, analyze, review, and distribute monthly financial and management reports
  • Conduct meetings with business leaders to review results and identify areas for improvement
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual business forecasts
  • Maintain the product costing system including but not limited to reviewing costs for accuracy and identifying areas for improvement
  • Provide financial guidance to business leaders to drive improved performance
  • Manage financial tracking and analysis for the Structured Improvement Process
  • Perform and present financial analysis for business investment opportunities to business leaders and manage tracking of capital projects
  • Work closely with business Information Systems to improve efficiency and make improvements
  • Participate in projects to overhaul business processes and systems
  • Qualifications

  • 4-year Degree in a Finance / Business related field or a minimum of 5 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Excellent Excel spreadsheet experience and a working knowledge of business information systems
