Reporting to the Site Experience Manager, the Digital Merchandising Specialist is responsible for coordinating and deploying digital merchandising strategies and tactics across the website.
In this role the Digital Merchandising Specialist will prepare and deploy digital content for the homepage, landing pages, category pages as well as key events and promotions.
The Digital Merchandising Specialist will work cross functionally ensuring all digital merchandising is deployed on time, on brand and is aligned to corporate Marketing strategies and go-to-market plans.
In this role the Digital Merchandising Specialist’s primary focus is deploying data driven, digital merchandising tactics that will ultimately create best in class customer experiences.
The Digital Merchandising Specialist will act as a subject matter expert aiding the digital team in increasing targeted KPIs, conversions and product discoverability.
Execution Digital Site Merchandising
Create and deploy site merchandising content including but not exclusive to the homepage, category, landing and brand pages
Ensure web content updates for area of responsibility are executed on time
Create custom curated landing pages and experiences
Responsible for accuracy and quality of site merchandising tactics and content
Partner with Category Managers and Inventory teams to understand product depth, breadth and availability; recommending seasonally relevant tactics to increase conversion and sell thru
Use data to make in-flight recommendations and pivots
Report on inflight and post launch metrics
Work with Site Experience Manager on content strategy and populating content calendar
Collaborate with Marketing, Category Management and Site Operations to oversee the execution of seasonal and promotional go-to-market plans
Work closely with the Product Manager, Content Optimization and SEO ensuring content and experiences are optimized and have strong SEO value
Participate in and provide recommendations for A / B testing
Work with the Marketing and Digital Design Studio to ensure visual content, messaging and assets are consistent across all digital channels
Remain up-to-date on current digital merchandising trends and best practices
Present concepts and ideas to the Digital Leadership team
Bachelors’ degree in Marketing, Advertising, Design or a related field.
3+ years in eCommerce experience (Merchandising and / or Digital Marketing)
Experience using site analytics tools such as Google Analytics
Knowledge of retail and eCommerce industry
Experience with a content management system
Customer focused with a mobile first mentality
