Client Service Representative

We are seeking a skilled Client Service Representative who will Work closely with the Account Executive, Analyst and other members of the Integrated Solutions team including Leadership (aka, the internal team), to help deliver the Integrated Solutions value proposition.
The Client Service Representative is responsible for maintaining communication between the internal team and client. Reporting back to the internal team on any client developments.
Become clients’ first point of contact for day-to-day service needs. Help create tools and materials necessary to support the client’s need and works directly with vendors to obtain necessary information or resolution.
Overview of responsibilities :
æ Be the first point of contact for ongoing client needs
æ Define service standards with clients and manage account lifecycle according to set service agreement / commitment. Ensure service standards are met and all deliverables are complete, and client focused
æ Communicate regularly with Underwriting Specialists / Analysts / Report Writers / CSR regarding workflow needs and scheduled deliverables needs, including regular quarterly and renewal reporting, as well as additional materials such as employee communications, PowerPoint presentations, miscellaneous reports, etc.
æ Ensure that plan design strategies are appropriate based on the plan sponsor’s needs and goals via regular reviews of the utilization among the various benefit levels
æ Ensure that the funding arrangement / pricing model is appropriate via regular reviews of the performance of the financial component of the program
æ Review renewal results and negotiate with insurance carriers as appropriate
æ Establish and maintain excellent working relationship with insurance carrier staff
æ Maintain a high degree of technical and industry expertise; by participating in industry conferences, seminars, etc.
About you and your experience :
æ Insurance industry knowledge. Ideally some time in customer service and underwriting.
æ Strong understanding of various carriers’ claims paying and administrative processes, as well as their underwriting practices and pricing models
æ Strong communication, written and oral
æ Strong multitasking and problem-solving ability
æ Knowledge in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook :
æ Able to manage / deal with very diverse bank of personalities and needs
æ Able to function without specific processes in place / able to help implement processes. æ Capable of working independently and in a team
æ Interested in broadening his / her knowledge
