The Education and Learning Solutions Specialist is a role supporting Education and Product Development services.

This position will work out of their home office and reside in Eastern Canada (ON, QC, Atlantic) and will report into Education and Product Development Manager.

Key responsibilities include :

  • Promote our Education product line in Eastern and Atlantic Canada to support existing users and facilitate new business opportunities
  • Coordinate content alignment related to the various welding and metal fabrication programs and convey information to the larger Education and Development team
  • Identify new areas of growth for Education including working with government stakeholders on skilled trades and youth education initiatives
  • Lead meetings with the regional stakeholder committees and other key government stakeholders
  • Achieve adoption rates and or ROI by working with Sales, Operations and Product Development on scoping, selling, planning, and managing the delivery to clients and customers.
  • Develop strategies and tactical plans to sell CWB products and services to new customers and or market segments
  • Support alignment of content and development of regional content onto our D2L Brightspace LMS platform
  • Provide monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports focusing on regional sales, adoption, and financial targets related to regional responsibilities
  • Education Level

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Education or recognized equivalency and achievement at a professional level
  • Majors / Specialties

  • Completion of recognized welder trade qualification (red seal preferred) or a minimum completion of a welding technologist or pre-employment program.

  • Exceptional skills designing and presenting solutions, articulating value propositions, and managing delivery to maximize both revenue potential and customer success in a consulting / training practice

  • Demonstrated experience in identifying and acting on new business opportunities within new markets

  • Partner with the Education and product development team in scoping opportunities for education
  • Identify and map Education content to provincial outcomes ensuring that resources align to provincial standards
  • Network with government, industry and training providers to ensure our products meet required standards
  • Work with colleges to partner on Education courses to increase revenue
  • Present value propositions internally and to potential and current clients
  • Assist in lead generation, proposal development for Education product and service offerings
  • Conduct training sessions and seminars for clients and customers.
  • Manage customer demonstration accounts and ensure that these are monitored and followed-up on after demo period has ended.
  • Responsible for maintaining the files of all clients who are in-progress , and ensure that AP forms, quotations and licensing agreements are completed as needed.
  • Customer liaison from start to finish.

  • Manage project portfolio to ensure quality, on-time and on-budget implementations using a mix of resources within the CWB Group.
  • Collaborate with other user enablement managers for resource allocations and workload assignments to meet delivery requirements
  • Collaborate with vice presidents, directors, managers and peers in creation of new services to advance practice and customer success
  • Provide feedback to company management to ensure curriculum, content, material resources and asset quality are met
  • Attend industry conferences and tradeshows, as appropriate, to represent the company and promote Education.This may involve travel.
  • Keep client information up to date in the CRM
  • Generate new leads and opportunities for the Education product lines
  • Work collaboratively with Sales, Operations, Product Development and CWBWF to help build product knowledge, Education programs and educational training initiatives and deployments.
  • Responsible for collaborating with multiple teams to build customer solutions and scope work efforts, and then managing the successful delivery of user enablement services, ensuring that quality standards for delivery are exceeded.
  • Assist Sales and Marketing in developing Education launch packages and specific product training programs for both internal staff and end user customers.
  • Assist in the launch of new material, act as a Subject Matter Expert providing all necessary technical support and training for all Education clients.
