We currently have career opportunities for a Project Planner / Scheduler to join our Infrastructure Advisory Group. This is a domain within the Advisory services practice, which specializes in advising clients on performance improvement throughout the capital projects lifecycle, as well as working with our clients in Programme Management, designing and implementing PMO’s and independent oversight of project performance .
Our offerings in this area include assisting in claims and dispute resolutions, subject matter expertise for internal audit support, assessment of project management processes and controls, design and implementation of PMO’s, Program Management of major projects and supporting in project functions including planning / scheduling, cost management, risk management and project controls etc.
Typical clients include companies in the Utilities, Oil & Gas, Construction, IT implementation, and Mining industries.
Demonstrate an understanding of contractual and construction concepts
Experienced managing IT implementation projects in a design and construction environment
Participate in contract compliance assessments, cost recovery / cost controls analysis, vendor assessments / audits, project management engagements, etc.
Demonstrate an understanding of Project Management processes
Demonstrate an understanding of project management principles and good practice
Develop complex schedules and project plans
Create work products such as detailed analyses and engagement documentation.
Stay informed of emerging technical issues and relevant business and economic developments.
Maintain a strong client focus by effectively serving client needs.
Work closely with supervisors to deliver high-quality client service
Demonstrate quality control, and commitment to schedule and budgets
Foster an efficient, innovative and team-oriented work environment.

Qualifications Desired qualifications include :
An MBA or Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Construction Management, Supply Chain, Architecture, Engineering or a related field would be considered a strong asset
A minimum of 3 years of related experience (a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience would be acceptable for those holding a relevant graduate degree)
Consulting or industry experience would be a strong plus
Strong research, analytical, and business writing skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Strong proficiency with MS Project and / or Primavera, Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Visio, and Lotus Notes / Outlook
Strong proficiency with data mining software (e.g. ACL, Alteryx, etc.) would be preferred
Demonstrated integrity, values, principles, and work ethic.
