We are currently seeking an Audit Program Coordinator to oversee all audit activity within the organization. Additionally, this person will oversee the creation of the overall audit program.

If you love technology and are interested in joining a leading technology company, we'd love to hear from you!What are the details of this position : In this role, you will develop and oversee the audit program to include the identification of risks and controls, scoping, development and application of appropriate audit programs based on functional needs.

You will provide the Support organization (and Geotab Clients) with access to necessary audit reports generated by Geotab auditors or by partner audit reports and, finally, executive reporting and post-audit procedures.

You will work closely with Operations and Compliance members.

Duties and Tasks / Essential Functions :

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all Audit activity within the company
  • Lead and Champion ISO 27001 Certification
  • Prioritize which operational audits are required on an annual basis and execute based on those inspections with complete report on findings and observations
  • Establish an audit protocol and priorities for the next fiscal year
  • Establish Financial and Risk-based priorities, partnering where necessary or when required with outsourcers
  • Establish what downstream partner audit reports are required from third parties, and ensure adequate storage and protocols are set for qualifying those third-party audit results and all required mitigation plans for findings
  • Summarize and present findings to the business functions with recommendations for remediation where required on internal inspections
  • Act as point of contact for Sales Operations and Business Development for support in RFP responses as it pertains to third party and partner audit results
  • Consult on controls throughout the business that will ensure the business integrates compliance into daily processes
  • Experience / Skills Required :

  • 5-8 years demonstrated and relevant experience leading audits, preferably with a mix of external and internal audit experience
  • Experience in leading projects
  • CPA, CA preferred
  • CIA, CISA, CFE, CRM an asset
  • Excellent knowledge of audit methodologies, risk management practices and use of control frameworks (e.g. COSO, COBIT) to develop risk based audit programs
  • Demonstrated experience in auditing operations
  • Experience and exposure from working in / for highly regulated industries such as utilities, telematics is an asset
  • Experience with ISO 27001, SOC1 or NI 52-109 compliance program management and execution
  • Strong Project Management Experience
