These acquisitions have spanned the range of large public to smaller privateorganizations and those in-between.The position will report in to VP Corporate Development, Integration Excellence focusing on Cross Functional Integration Management & Reporting, including theimplementation of integration best practices across our organization.
The Candidate must bring sound experience in M&A transactions, including the insight todevelop from due diligence, achievable integration options and be able to plan and provide support to ensure that the integration delivers business results andidentified synergies.
You are great at :
Managing global cross functional teams to execute M&A Integrations· Supporting key cross functional decision makers in developing and executing their transaction strategy to secure deal value.
Managing cross function teams to define the transitional and end state operating models; identify and evaluate options for integration strategy andtimeline for acquisitions.
Facilitating cross-functional reviews to determine key gaps between end state business requirements and the OpenText as-
is operating model; considerimpact to business processes, enabling technology and people capabilities.· Reviewing recommendations and cost-
benefit analysis for gap closure; prioritize decisions; ensure timely decision making process by CorporateDevelopment and senior management;
communicate outcomes to impacted stakeholders.· Demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of integrations, carve-outs, and other types of transaction engagements.
Demonstrating excellent skills in project execution, including synergy assessment and realization, project management, problem-
solving, and facilitation.· Assisting in identifying risks and issues related to integration planning, timelines, and functional areas.
Developing excellent cross functional relationships at the appropriate level and be responsible for a high degree of cross functional satisfaction withengagement process and work products.
Assisting in Corporate Development activities including preparing presentations and attending pursuit meetings with cross functional teams.
Be responsible for fostering an open and inclusive work environment.
Cross Functional Integration experience with large deals at an international level is mandatory, with concrete operational experience in the InformationTechnology and / or software industry.
Ability to define tangible goals from higher-level, generic objectives; including the ability to create and track KPIs to measure the outcomes of those goals· Prefer experience that includes involvement in building business cases and project managing related operational tactics and strategies.
Proven ability to build networks and leverage these with personal influence to drive success.· Due diligence experience (operational or financial) would be beneficial· Exposure to TSA’s (transitional services agreements) and execution strategies operationally would be an asset· Significant experience in re-
engineering, turnarounds or business integrations, with a demonstrated aptitude for quantitative and qualitative analysis.
Highly experienced with integration best practices, having taken a leadership role in their implementation· Excellent problem solving, project management, facilitation and interpersonal skills.
