We are looking for an Electronics Design Engineer to participate in the development of our control system components onboard the farming equipment with a focus to improve the product design and user experience.
Demonstrated learning agility and strong desire to innovate.
Education / Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Electronics / Computer Science / Electrical Engineering.
Experience with microcontrollers & microprocessor based electronic design.
Knowledge of communication protocols (TCP / IP, J1939, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB, UART, CAN, SPI, I2C)
Experience with cellular technologies (Modem Manager, LTE, LPWA, etc.)
Experience with IoT using MQTT or similar technologies.
C, C++, Embedded RTOS and Embedded Linux
Experience on various software and test tools : Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence etc.Python, Visual Studio, MATLAB, Simulink, WireshCANoe
Conduct research activities including exploration and selection of new components for harsh environmental conditions.
Experience in the development of architecture, schematic, and layouts of electrical and electronic systems.
Plan & develop test procedures for prototype testing.
Experience on schematic capture & circuit simulation tools like Mentor Graphics.
Experience on computer aided engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks.
Experience about 7 years.
Accountabilities
As an Electronics engineer you will be working as part of the collaborative electronic development team consisting of our product development partners.
You will be responsible to consolidate design requirements, align and optimize with various product lines and develop specifications for next generation components for our farming equipment.
You will be involved in various phases of component development like planning, research, concept, prototyping, design and testing of the components as well as testing of complete seeding system along with embedded software developers.
You will be involved in the research, integration and certification of 3rd party sensors, devices & subsystems to enhance functionality of our products.
You will also be involved in the root cause analysis & resolution to ensure that the quality of the components meets system requirements and exceeds expectations of our customers.
Work Conditions
Primarily a typical office working environment.
During factory or field visits this position may be exposed to elements such as noise, dust, odors, fumes, and oils hence usage of Personal Protective Equipment is mandatory.
