Principal tasks :

  • Provide exceptional customer service;
  • Interact with customers in person, on the phone or via email;
  • Loading and unloading products in a timely manner to meet delivery deadlines and customer commitments;
  • Physically receive goods, confirm quantities and enter in to the computer system;
  • Picking, packing and shipment of customer orders or warehouse transfers, courier deliveries, including preparing documentation for shipment;
  • Put away products in correct areas, stock shelves and organize overstock locations;
  • Participate in the daily cycle counts and annual physical inventory;
  • Verify accuracy of work completed;
  • Safe operation of material handling equipment in a potentially limited space;
  • Ensure good housekeeping including organizing of warehouse and showroom environment, i.e. keeping shelves and work areas clean;
  • Maintain a safe work environment by abiding by all company and legislative safety regulations;
  • Collaborate with team to achieve company results;
  • Other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
  • Requirements :

  • Previous experience operating a forklift (counterbalance)
  • High School completed
  • Dangerous Goods certification an asset
  • Ability to lift or move heavy products (up to 50lbs.)
  • Team player with organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Initiative & resourcefulness
  • Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
  • Enthusiasm for customer service
