We operate hospitals, health centres and community-based programs across the province. Our team of health professionals includes employees, doctors, researchers, learners and volunteers that provide the health care or services you may need.

This is accomplished across four geographic management zones which are responsible for the operation of acute care health centres and the provision of a variety of inpatient, outpatient services including academic, tertiary, quaternary care and community based programs and services including continuing care, primary health care, public health, and mental health and addictions.

Responsibilities Qualifications Registered Nurse preparation, Bachelor of Nursing or Bachelor of Science of Nursing an asset.

Active practicing license in good standing with CRNNS required. Diploma or certificate in adult education and / or certificate or national certification in critical care nursing required.

Minimum 2 years full-time critical care nursing experience within last five years required. Previous preceptor experience required.

BLS for Health Care Providers certification. Current experience with classroom, on-line and skill / simulated teaching, including low to high fidelity simulation required.

Current experience with coordinating and implementing skill and simulated based teaching and assessment methods experience required.

Demonstrated recent professional development relevant to maintaining currency in practice and education. Demonstrated ability to work with interprofessional groups of learners / employees in a variety of educational settings (e.

g. classroom, online, lab, practice setting). Demonstrated ability to develop strong working relationships with key stakeholders.

Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a member of a team. Demonstrated ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.

  • Well developed verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency with computer skills and applications including Complete Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint);
  • internet browsers; Learning Management Systems; Web-based classroom and discussion boards. Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred.
