We are looking for an organized and technically advanced administrative professional for this fast-paced environment.
You will work with internal and external customers to receive, process and prepare documents for RCMP police officers and other personnel located at the Cochrane Detachment.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong attention to detail, have excellent customer service skills and remain confidential and tactful in all interactions.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Legislative and Protective Services and receiving daily direction from the Detachment Coordinator, this position is responsible for administrative, financial and operational support services for RCMP police officers and other personnel located at the Cochrane Detachment.
Key Accountabilities :
1.Demonstrates excellent customer service by providing accurate information and options to both internal and external clients to assist in their understanding of, and compliance with, administrative and operational policies.
Information provided is based on Municipal, Provincial and Federal guidelines, processes and procedures unique to the RCMP detachment to facilitate requests.
2.Provides information, conducts research, analyzes and extracts data pertinent to both internal and external stakeholders using a variety of automated operational records management systems (i.
e. PIRS, PROS, CPIC, OSR, etc.).
3.Create, research, input, modify, analyses and extracts data and information in a variety of Operational Records Management Systems and other automated systems (for example : CPIC, PIRS, PROS, and TEAM) including manual filing systems.
4.Receives and processes payments related to fines, fingerprints, copies of accident reports etc.
5.Maintains and monitors office equipment and supply inventory; places orders as required.
6.Maintains and monitors vehicle account records; reconciles accounts monthly. Maintains radio contact with regular RCMP officers to provide pertinent information from data banks, relevant background material to support the well-
being and safety of RCMP officers and involved public / victims.
7.Provides a broad array of administrative support and services (i.e. processing of mail, transcriptions, and action ATIP requests under the guidance of a supervisor).
8.Provides in-house guidance / training and information to RCMP officers and other employees on computer software and systems applications, office procedures and processes.
