  • Supports client groups with the talent pipeline requirements in line with recruitment strategy.
  • Maintains close contact with the HR team to work in synchronization with the other business units.
  • Ensures that HR services are provided as appropriate to internal client needs, identifies new opportunities where HR can add value, and maintains leading-edge knowledge of HR issues.
  • Understands employee opinions, monitors the effect of business decisions on people, and advises senior management on addressing employees’ concerns.
  • Applies employee relations and employment practices in order to create a positive, ethical, effective work environment.
  • Recruits new employees by searching out and identifying potential candidates, adapting process using creativity and personal network when appropriate;
  • conducts employment interviews to determine employability; advises on employment decisions; determines compensation packages in conjunction with management, considering all relevant factors;
  • makes employment offers.

  • Provides interpretation, consultation and facilitation to employees and management in highly confidential or complex employment issues to promote resolution.

  • Process paperwork and maintain information as required
  • Maintain employee files
  • Prepare, maintain and update HR records, employee information, and related department data in accordance with established procedures, including performance reviews.
  • Coordinate recognition program
  • Prepare invoices for payments
  • May lead or participate in cross-functional project teams.
  • Builds relationships with, and co-ordinates the work of, external service providers & partners.
  • Delivers training / communication sessions for employees and managers with respect to company programs, policies, or processes.
  • Understands basic compensation theories and practices.
  • MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (skills, mental requirements, work experience, education, physical requirements) :

    Minimum prior experience (Type of experience) :

  • 3-5 years’ experience in a human resources generalist capacity.
  • Minimum skills / knowledge (skills and abilities necessary for position) :

  • Able to successfully manage multiple priorities.
  • Listens and fosters open communication throughout the business.
  • Identifies, supports, and champions opportunities for change and continuous improvement.
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
  • Personable individual who is able to build professional relationships across the organization, enabling a high degree of teamwork.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Minimum Education :

  • Generally requires a College / University degree in Human Resources or Business Administration, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment an asset.
