Our client, a Top 5 Bank, is looking an Operations Officer for a 12 month contract in Downtown Toronto! Do you have previous operations experience within a banking environment, are strong in MS Office and are a team player?

If so, this is a great opportunity for you!

Pay Rate : $22.00 / hour

Hours : Monday to Friday; 37.5 hours, 8-4 or 8 : 30-4 : 30

As an Operations Officer your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to :

  • Limit and control non-credit losses by accurate and timeline processing of all Payment Card Network (PCN) chargebacks and disputes
  • Minimize potential risk to the bank by proactively identifying and acting on suspicious activity
  • Adhere to all PCN chargeback and dispute related deadlines, regulations and protocol
  • Communicate and support both internal and external customers
  • Develop effective relationships with other banks and financial institutions
  • Call merchants to follow up on chargebacks due to disputed transactions assigned

  • Must have :

  • 5-7+ yrs exp. as an Operations Officer (or similar role)
  • Excellent communications skills (verbal and written)
  • Highly flexible and able to quickly adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong MS Office : Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Have excellent time management, multitasking, task planning and prioritization skills
  • Organized and Attention to Detail
  • Nice to have :

  • Knowledge of : Chargeback, Payments, Banking, Accounting
  • Previous accounting experience within a billing / back office environment (1 year)
  • Clear credit and criminal check required
