CJPAC is a national, independent, multi-partisan organization. Our mandate is to engage Jewish and pro-Israel Canadians in the democratic process and to foster active political participation.

We are dedicated to helping community members build relationships within the Canadian political arena.


Continue to grow CJPAC’s permanent presence in the province of British Columbia. Develop engagement and fundraising opportunities.

Foster relationships between the Jewish community, its friends and elected officials in the region.



Actively fundraise to increase CJPAC’s donor and canvasser base

Engage lay leaders in organizational fundraising (events and solicitations)


  • Engage current and past CJPAC Fellows, university students and Young Leadership participants with CJPAC
  • Recruit new Fellowship and Generation students every year, from across the province
  • Work closely with CJPAC National Office staff and other community leadership, and local community organizations to
  • continue and expand CJPAC’s programming

  • During and leading up to elections, engage and organize political activity in BC including volunteers and fundraising
  • Ensure strong participation at national events from Vancouver
  • Work on all national events, programs and conferences as directed

  • Recruit new donors, program participants and volunteers
  • Raise general awareness about CJPAC within the greater Jewish community
  • Ensure key political influencers are engaged with community leadership

  • Work with the local CJPAC volunteer board, ensuring that board members and lay leaders are engaged in the
  • organization, its fundraising and the multi-partisan political process

  • Other responsibilities (incl. travel) as assigned by CJPAC’s Executive Director

  • Complete all budget and expense reports in a timely and accurate manner
  • Contribute regularly to all CJPAC communications
  • Participation in weekly CJPAC staff calls
  • Maintain the smooth operation of CJPAC’s BC-based office in Vancouver

  • Other responsibilities (incl. travel) as assigned by CJPAC’s Executive Director


  • University degree
  • 5 years related work experience showing progressive responsibility
  • Some campaign and political experience in Canada
  • Experience as a political staffer is a plus
  • Fundraising experience, preferably at major gifts level

  • Self-starter, must be able to work independently and take initiative
  • Must feel comfortable with public speaking; strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented : able to run a program from start to finish
  • A strong sense of discretion and judgment
  • Ability to be multi-partisan and work with community members across the spectrum
  • Understand current Jewish community and Israel-related issues
  • Passion for Israel, the Jewish community and the Canadian political system
  • Ability to travel and work evenings and weekends as required
  • Qualifications : Bachelor's Degree Preferred and 3-5 years of experience.
