The Account Planning Manager is a key part of the Channels Customer Business Team. The Channels CBT is the 2nd largest at Mondelēz and is accountable for well over $300M of Revenue Spanning Convenience & Gas, Wholesale, E-
Commerce, Club, Drug, Dollar and more. This is a new role being added to our CBT and the focus will be on the strategic analysis of the large and complex Wholesale Universe that serves the C&G Customers and ultimately enable Mondelēz to better understand, predict, and more strategically forecast our business.
This individual will work very closely with the Wholesale Key Account Managers and internal and external stakeholders to provide detailed analytical support indicating channel trends, banner performances and other key inputs to help interpret short-
term and long-term revenue outlook for Wholesale accounts. Successful delivery in the role short term will lead to taking on one to two direct reports in the medium term and of course provide broader career options at Mondelēz.
Customer Management :
Support the Key Account Manager with day to day customer management and interface.
Accountable to plan and forecast made to order items (PPK’s, DRP's, PDQ's)
Accountable for internal management of Innovation and Scale activation planning and execution.
Leading an initiative across the Customer Business Team.
Revenue and Trade Planning :
Support the Key Account Manager on revenue planning and forecasting for the IBP process.
Responsible for the management and maintenance of CPW revenue and monthly trade planning. (item level entries)
Accountable for the trade management processes by reviewing tactic report, closing promotions in a timely manner, adjusting spends on all events, ensuring funding is sufficient while collaborating the Customer Finance Manager.
Accountable to work with Demand Planning and Revenue Planning on overall forecast and gating of orders (C3 process)
Connect with the SSA group to ensure proper A / R clearance and management.
Retail Execution :
Support the retail planning, communication (WiSE process) and execution at store level.
Trade show co-ordination and management. (as required - CGD)

Minimum bachelor degree in Business or equivalent
Minimum 2-3 years of retail sales experience in CPG or retail industry
Ideally 1-2 years internal customer support role in CPG or retail industry
Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills required
Experience with the business planning cycle and thorough understanding of revenue planning and forecasting
A natural ability to simplify the complex
Strong analytical and trend recognition ability tell a story from the data
Ability to manage, synthesize, and integrate large amounts of data.
