WHAT YOU'LL DO
Report to the Manager, Business Intelligence.
Develop highly effective and visually pleasing BI reports such as trending, time frame and segment differences, member profiles, etc.
in such a way that it’s easily consumed by the business.
Capture and analyze business requirements from clients on needs for reports, dashboards, apps that need to be deployed in Power BI.
Respond to internal, field and vendor requests for information regarding products.
Consult with stakeholders on options to modify or enhance BI reports; identify themes based on requests and raise them with management.
Design complex reporting solutions and ensure alignment with the design principles, standards, strategies, and target states.
Support quality assurance metrics and checks for each dashboard to ensure reported data is accurate in comparison to the source data.
Ongoing development and enhancements of impactful dashboards, reports and products to effectively enable insights and business decisions.
Develop in-depth knowledge and understanding of business KPI’s, financial goals, processes and requirements across multiple business lines.
Create consistent documentation throughout development process of BI standards.
Determine requirements, define key performance indicators, and develop BI solutions to business problems by regularly communicating with executives, business and operational leaders, and subject matter experts.
WHAT YOU'VE DONE
You have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, business management, specialized training / certification or equivalent work experience.
You’re no newbie. You have 5-7 years of Business Intelligence reporting or related technical experience on this we must insist.
You’ll get bonus points if you have experience with Microsoft Power BI and / or Agile / Scrum.
You’re an expert when it comes to using data analysis technology and language (SQL, Python, DAX, high charts, D3, SSRS, etc).
