Threat Protection is a part of the Security Services Engineering team and is responsible for tools that protect the Bank from malicious attacks.

Our focus is on the endpoints (servers and workstations), Data loss protection, Cloud and Network malware protection, etc.

We are a dynamic team with many security projects on the go any time. You will be a contributor to keeping TD safe.

About This Role

We are looking for someone to perform a broad range of activities while working alongside and supporting others on the Security Engineering team.

You’ll be involved in developing components of solutions with a focus on analytics, support, testing, and proof-of-concepts aligned to business and technology objectives.

  • Actively monitor Security Services intake queue for new consult requests.
  • Triaging requests based on priority, scope, and complexity
  • Meeting with clients to further understand requirements
  • Developing action plans and recommendations
  • Working in conjunction with Security Services Engineers across the various domains / pillars to action and execute on requests.
  • Implement security solutions into production as needed.
  • Job Requirements

    What can you bring to TD? Share your credentials, but your relevant experience and knowledge can be just as likely to get our attention. It helps if you have :

  • University or Post-Graduate Degree.
  • Strong academic background (e.g., computer science, engineering).
  • A keen desire to continue learning
  • 3-5 years relevant experience. At least some of this time must be in Security roles.
  • Sound knowledge of TD applications, systems, networks, best practices, business / organization, and Bank standards as they relate to Information Security.
  • The ability to prioritize and manage own workload in order to deliver quality results and meet timelines under guidance of management
  • The ability to solve moderately complex problems; takes a new perspective on existing solutions
  • CISSP certification strongly desired.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
