Opening for an enthusiastic, motivated working student at a mid-sized stable in Ontario, Canada. Our working student program is run for minimum 4-

6 months to get the most from the program.

This live-in position offers accommodations and all meals in the barn owners' family home, multiple daily riding opportunities, daily instruction in riding, handling, stable management, nutrition, first aid etc.

showing and clinic opportunities and more.

After an initial assessment period students may be assigned their own project horse for training under supervision. BHS testing is available if desired.

While regular barn duties such as feeding, mucking and turn in / out are part of the job, this is a riding position with the opportunity to ride / work with several horses per day.

We also offer a 'train-a-horse' program where you are paired with a horse and are responsible for their training (with guidance from the head coach).

Requirements : Equine experience required, hard-working, positive attitude, self-starter. Equine qualifications / studies an asset but not required for a motivated individual.
