Position Overview :

In this role the successful candidate will collaborate within and / or across business units to develop and execute on initiatives / projects with high risk, complexity and / or business impact, strategies to support present and future needs through the creation of solution alternatives, assessments and planning and analysis.

Responsibilities :

  • Maintain a strong understanding of TELUS Health - Health Benefit Management applications, products and services, organizational delivery capabilities
  • Design and implement simple solutions in order to solve complex business problems
  • Gather and document business requirements
  • Contribute to solution strategies based on business unit needs in supporting programs and roadmaps
  • Lead cost benefit analysis, economic / ease modeling and planning and implementation activities
  • Actively participate in project team meetings and lead when necessary
  • Successfully liaises with internal stakeholders on implementation activities to achieve end goals, deliverables and commitments
  • Leads and facilitates meetings and working sessions with cross-functional stakeholders in order to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Analyze performance and results to provide insights and recommendations for both client experience and business / performance processes improvements by using analytical tools
  • Required Knowledge :

  • Bilingual preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of claim adjudication principals Pharmacy Benefit Management experience is an asset
  • Proven ability to collect requirements and document business processes and client requirements
  • Ability to influence cross functional teams
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
  • Experience analysing and reporting on performance and utilisation data
  • Strong delivery and creation of presentations to leaders
  • Required Skills & Abilities :

  • Highly developed personal planning and organisational skills : initiating, planning and organising activities simultaneously within a project as well as with multiple projects
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to change and provide change management guidance to others
  • Strong analytical problem identification, and problem solving skills
  • Strong customer focus
  • Capable and willing learner who proactively researches solutions to business challenges
  • Highly proficient in Excel, Visio, MS Access
  • Required Experience :

  • 5 + years in comparable role
  • Previous Pharmacy Benefit Management experience an asset
  • Pharmacy, Pharma, Group Insurance, Healthcare IT experience is an asset
