What you’ll do
The CTC ConsumerBrands Division’s (CBD) mandate is to help build the equity of the CTCportfolio of Consumer Brands by improving the experience associated with theown brand offerings.
Reporting to the Vice President, Product RD andInnovation, the Associate Vice President, Product Development will build and manage a team to drive categoryand assortment architecture, product innovation, design direction and financialperformance for our Hockey & Bike brands.
Lead and execute the product design and development efforts from concept to production for all given categories and brands in their portfolio
Have oversight of brand business planning,management and overall brand governance
Conceptualize andformulate strategic initiatives that further the brand’s annual and long-termplanning objectives
Collaborate withsenior management to devise effective short and long-term plans
Build, lead and manage a completemulti-functional product development team
Collaborate with cross-functionalstakeholders to drive financial performance, product innovation and designdirection of the brands
Work closely with the international team todrive the strategy for market expansion and capitalize new global growthopportunities
Travel (Domestic and International) to various vendor partners to participate in onsite engineering and manufacturing builds, tooling and design reviews and conduct product capability assessments for future planning

10 years ofexperience in a brand and product management capacity with increasing levels ofresponsibility and proven track record of driving penetration and profitablegrowth, specific experience with Hockey categories required
Experiencein managing a P&L with financial accountability for product portfolio(s)
Experiencebuilding and managing a team, leading the group in support of businessobjectives
A creative mindset always on the lookout for newideas, solutions, processes and products
The ability to analyzeand prioritize to meet business objectives with a bias to speed and action
Superior influencing skills with the ability tobuild relationships and rally cross-functional teams and stakeholder groups tomove initiatives forward
