    Position Overview :

    The Adoption Manager, Client Technology Adoption will be responsible for the implementation of new client facing technologies.

    This includes the management and oversight of all aspects to making the client facing technology client ready including : policies and procedures, administration of applications, configuration, training, internal / external communications, client conversion management, user acceptance testing and transition to business as usual process.

    In addition, this role will be responsible for the technology components of client on-boarding. Assessing and gathering of requirements, overseeing and coordinating the creation of business requirements, user acceptance testing and working as liaison between our clients and technology teams

    Responsibilities :

  • Control and ownership of client information delivery tool-kits for all client segments. Evolving the tool-kits as industry and client needs change allowing for ready access solutions for quicker time to market.
  • Management of all information delivery technologies including (but not limited to) implementation of new client facing technologies, client data delivery projects and new business / client on-boarding.
  • Consult, collaborate and represent CIBC Mellon with key technology relationships CIBC, BNY Mellon and vendor partners to ensure successful deployment of client information delivery solutions.
  • Leverage and proactively engage with CIBC IT, BNY Mellon and our vendor partners to promote utilization of client technologies in Canada
  • Deliver formal presentations to business units; communicate project status to internal and external parties.
  • Assist in supporting Business Development in sales process providing technology insight and expertise.
  • Conduct and chair application meetings with various business teams and relationship management to facilitate prioritization of client technology requests.
  • Assist with understanding of cost associated to various applications and client specific estimates.
  • Prepare RFP responses and provide assistance with the Business Implementation process in conjunction with Business Development and Marketing
  • Assist staff as needed in the preparation of project plans, securing appropriate input and cooperation of both internal and external parties, monitoring progress against project deliverables and update project plans to reflect changes
  • Qualifications :

  • University degree
  • 5-7 years progressive experience in project management, client services and staff management
  • Knowledge and experience securities industry and related platforms
  • Strong knowledge of securities and custodial platforms
  • Decision making, leadership, verbal and written communication skills; negotiation, analytical and detailed oriented; problem solving skills
  • Strong facilitation and negation skills
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute conflicting demands
  • Qualifications :

  • University degree
