As a Big Data Specialist Intern working within our Data Services team, you will design, develop, anddeploy projects on Google Cloud Platform and be exposed to data streams covering vastly differentand complex banking application data.
You will also work alongside senior technologists at HSBC to learn how we doit.Our intern opportunities aredesigned to allow for creativity and autonomy to design and continuouslyimprove what we do.
We are veryinterested in learning from you too.Some of our previous interns have changed the way we operate.
Preference will be given to studentswho are available for an 8-month work term (May December), however thoseavailable for a 4-
month work term will be taken into consideration.

Unix Scripting, Cron JobScheduling, Docker, and CI / CD tools such as Jenkins and Ansible.
Data Warehousing, inparticular the utilization of Big Data to optimize data warehouseinfrastructures, supporting efficient ETL routines, data qualityframeworks / processes data repositories, OLAP cubes and data visualizations.
