About the role

The Personal Lines Operations and Planning department is a National Business team that drives strategic projects which support customer satisfaction, growth and profitability.

We are looking for team-oriented individuals with exceptional organizational skill and project management aspirations for a Project Control Officer position.

What you’ll do here :

  • Support PM & Managers to develop and manage project management plans
  • Support for department in preparing reports for various management meetings; producing indicators and proactively monitor budget, schedules and project resources
  • Track and report on project status, progress and issues
  • Assist with creation, monitoring and tracking project scope, time and quality commitments and deviations
  • Assist in project monitoring and execution
  • Capacity planning
  • Meeting organization and facilitation
  • Project management of small to medium initiatives
  • Qualifications

    What you bring to the table :

  • University Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or a combination of education & relevant experience will be considered
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience working on projects
  • Strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle
  • Solid understanding of the SDLC and Agile software development methodology; QA concepts and Business analysis
  • Ability to facilitate meetings, collaborate with others in person and virtually
  • A positive attitude in the workplace and the ability to drive change
  • Advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Sharepoint User - MS Visio, MS Access and Jira is an asset
  • Effective time management and prioritization skills
  • Excellent oral / written communication. Bilingualism is an asset.
  • Project Management and Leadership experience is an asset.
  • CAPM / PMP Certification an asset
