A nalysis, modeling and similation skills, experienced Matlab user
Familiarity with RF measurement tools and techniques
C / C++ programming experience desirable
FPGA firmware development desireable
Applied Mathematics skills, including : Advanced linear algebraAdvanced knowledge of probability and statistics
Expert knowledge of digital signal processing, including : design and implementation of both finite impulse response (FIR) and infinite impulse response (IIR) filtersPower spectrum estimation of random noise and random data signals.
Data Communications design and implementation experience (mandatory to have a blend of the list below) : Filter design for minimization of ISI and spectroal containment desirableAdaptive equalization expertise for time-varying, multipath fading channels desirableFamiliarity with Rake receiver operation desirableFading mitigation techniques such as space diversity, time-diversity, polarization diversity and frequency diversity desirableKnowledge of Forward Error Correction coding is desirableFamiliarity with data-link-protocols, such as ARQ is desirable

Post Graduate Degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Applied Mathematics.
CANADIAN CITIZENSHIP - must either hold or be able to obtain Government of Canada security clearance up to the Secret level and access to controlled goods.
