Job Description

Our Federal Government Client is looking for a Senior Project Manager to provide professional services to support Director General Information Management Project Development in delivering joint and enterprise IM / IT capabilities and solutions

Key Tasks :

  • Support the review and updating of Project Charter Refinements, Statement of Requirement and the Concept of Operations , all of which are currently being handled by the Project Director staff.
  • Project deliverables that will progress the capital project to the Definition Phase to include but not limited to : Develop / update / maintain the Work Breakdown StructureDefinition Phase PlanProject Management PlanRisk AssessmentRisk Management PlanProject ScheduleSupport portions of Project Costing Liaise with stakeholders in support of required effort
  • May be asked to prepare and distribute agendas prior to program meetings and distribute records of decisions to participants after the completion of the meeting
  • Provide support to PM staff in preparing and delivering ad hoc project briefings, conducting senior leader engagement, coordinating and conducting stakeholder engagement and reviewing and contributing to key PM documents and plans as well as other tasks required during the OA phase of the project
