We are seeking a highly motivated,experienced Senior Thermal Lead to join our dynamic Thermal Powerteam Mississauga. Though based in Mississauga, the role willsupport global projects and BUactivities.

Role &Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned studies includinginterfacing and reporting to clients, monitoring and managingbudget and schedules for specialized upfront powerstudies;
  • Provide leadership and mentorshipon specialized technical design and deliverable requirements forvarious forms of Thermal Power generation andcogeneration.
  • Provide support to other regions inthe development and delivery of project requirements within thePower BU and requisite clientengagements;
  • Lead and support Thermal Powerbusiness development efforts and strategic initiatives, includingpreparation of proposals, pursuit plans andorigination;
  • Through project delivery andinvolvement in industry activities / associations / committees / etc, develop and maintain clientrelations.
  • Qualifications

  • Mechanical (preferred) or Chemicalengineering degree from a recognizeduniversity
  • Registered Professional Engineerwith Professional EngineersOntario
  • Minimum of 15 years of progressivewithin the thermal power industry in a consulting / engineeringenvironment
  • Experience with thermal powersystems, such as gas, coal, biomass, liquid fuel, district energyand industrial thermalsystems
  • Experience and interest in businessdevelopment including the development and maintenance of clientrelations;
  • Ability to work on global projectswithin globalteams;
  • Flexibility for short term overseasbusinesstravels
  • Ability to communicate effectivelyand professionally with all levels of staff and clients (bothwritten andorally);
  • Track record of delivering projectson time and tobudget;
  • Demonstrated leadershipcapabilities and experience within organizations and teams, peoplemanager
