JOB SUMMARY : Process Caterpillar Financial ServicesLimited's (CFSL) documents through the preparation of forms supportingapproved transactions, initiation of funding, and preparation of leasing andremote document systems input.

Support the Credit Manager byproviding training and direction to other Contract Administrators.Responsible for system related development,implementation and training.


Receives requests from the credit areato prepare final financing documents.

Assists in the preparation of complexdocumentation involving leases, vessel mortgages, and financing packages.

Utilizes knowledge of financialtransactions, state and federal personal and property tax, withholding tax, andlien documents.

Verifies existing and enters additionalcontract information into the remote documents system prior to printing at theCaterpillar dealership, or in the office for distribution to thedealership.

Maintains a follow-up system to ensuretimely return of documents to CFSL and follows up with dealers and customers asneeded.

Reviews returned document packages forcompleteness and accuracy.If additionalinformation or documents are needed, communicates with the customer or dealerto obtain such information.

Orders and tracks record searches.

May track receipt of and proper filingof documents related to new business and renewals of previously bookedbusiness.

May review searches for liensconflicting with our security position.

May contact outside creditors to discussthe need to sign subordination and release documents.

Verifies insurance coverage to completethe document file.If additionaldocuments are needed, contacts the customer or dealer.

Inputs transactions into the leasing system toprepare for funding.If the contract isout of balance, coordinates with the Credit Analyst for correction.

Performs andcoordinates various credit team’s systems support activities including, but notlimited to, software testing, conducts or coordinates the training internallyand externally, liaise with Caterpillar IT consultants or external systemconsultants in order to improve and optimize the systems used in the CreditDepartment.

Coordinates with vendors onsystem upgrades.

Participates in accomplishment of continuous improvement objectives for thedepartment.Progress towardaccomplishment of these is measured through maintenance of necessarymeasurements and analysis of associated data.

Participates in the identification of problem areas and development ofresolutions to address them.

Understands the Harassment policy of thecompany and is responsible for its application in all aspects of employment.



Knowledgeof Caterpillar products and CFSL and Caterpillar dealer processes.

Demonstrated knowledge offinance / leasing products, policies, and procedures.

Demonstrated knowledge of CFSLdocumentation procedures and financing principles.

Demonstrated knowledge of laws andregulations pertaining to credit and leasing.

Advancedknowledge of the CFSL’s leasing and remote documents systems.

Demonstratedknowledge billing and invoicing procedures.

Demonstratedability to apply effective oral, written, and listening communication skillswith dealers, customers, company personnel, and the financial communities.

Demonstratedability to effectively manage numerous tasks.

Demonstratedknowledge of and the ability to apply math computation skills.

Demonstrated knowledge of and the ability toapply data collection and analysis skills.

Demonstrated ability to prepare and maintainspreadsheets.

Ability to use atypewriter and / or keyboard for 75% of the workday.

Demonstratedability to perform general office tasks.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE : Completion of secondary school or equivalentdiploma and a minimum of 4years experience in contract, credit or customer services administrationis recommended.
