Our client, a thriving and well respected law firm located in North Toronto, is growing and seeking a Legal Assistant to join its team.

Duties and responsibilities include : Arranging for couriers, mailing / faxing letters sending emails Printing, assembling, formatting, tabbing and generally preparing documents for signature (in person, via courier and DocuSign) Drafting cover letters Client Information Forms, Engagement Letters and File Openings Scheduling meetings and conference calls Client Follow-up Client Billing (Pre Bills and Accounts) Scanning and photocopying Organization of electronic files Some document processing (depends on experience / work load) Some document drafting (depends on experience / work load)
3-5 years of law firm experience is required along with some exposure to a business law practice is preferred. A professional and efficient legal assistant with excellent organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision and follow up is further necessary.
No overtime is expected in this role. The ability to take on more challenging tasks is available!
