This exciting Internship / Co-op position will be located at the Second Narrows Water Supply Tunnel project. This is new water supply tunnel under the Burrard Inlet, one of five new water supply tunnel crossings in the region.
The tunnel will increase the capacity of the existing system. The structure will be approximately five meters in diameter and 1.1 kilometers in length.
This internship provides a variety of hands on experience and training needed to become an effective, well-rounded Civil Construction Engineer by exposure to both technical and office duties.
Typical responsibilities require applying critical engineering and management thinking which includes : estimating, design, scheduling, compliance review, procurement, surveying, production tracking, change order preparation, material testing and analysis, and cost report management.

This is a full-time internship requiring 40+ hours per week. The internship will take place approximately January - May 2020, but we can be flexible on start dates.
