    In accordance with theCollective Bargaining Agreement, the successful applicant will be hired intothis position at M2’ rate (currently $39.

    63 / hour )and receive a Pay for Knowledge premium of $0.50 / hour . All overtimeis paid at double time .

    You will :

    Install,assemble, fabricate, maintain and repair various mechanical pressure pipingsystems

    Performsteam tracing

    Assistwelders on assigned tasks

    Performrigging tasks

    Workwith a partner on assigned tasks

    Performother related tasks as assigned

    The qualifications youhave include :

    InterprovincialRed Seal Pipefitter certification

    Highschool diploma or equivalent (ie. GED)

    Atleast three (3) months of related industrial experience

    ValidClass Five (5) driver’s license

    Abilityto work proficiently in a variety of tasks

    Demonstratedproblem solving skills to determine best repair solutions

    Demonstratedcomputer skills including experience working with maintenance planning programssuch as Maximo

    Exceptionalplanning and organizational skills as well as mechanical and operationsaptitude

    Strongcommitment to safety, environmental compliance and plant reliability

    The workenvironment you’ll be entering requires and includes :

    Ability to work in an industrial manufacturingenvironment

    Availability forshift work and emergency call out

    Manual dexterity required to use desktopcomputer and peripherals

    Ability to work outdoors in all types ofweather

    Ability to climb stairs, ladders, and work atheights

    Occasional exposureto fumes / airborne particles

    Ability to passpulmonary breathing test

    Ability to wear a gas mask-type respirator andPPE

    Tolerance to occasional exposure to fumes orairborne particles and toxic / caustic chemicals with appropriate PPE

    Unassisted physical mobility in and aroundplant and equipment

  • Ability to sit, stand, kneel as necessary
  • Ability to travel to and enter site to accessequipment

    Ability to lift andcarry up to fifty (50) pounds
