As a Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in defining how to retain our customer base, not just within Koodo but across our family of brands including TELUS and Public, and create value that is meaningful for our customers and our business.

This team delivers industry leading churn and best-in-class customer experience, and your role is to push this forward onwards and beyond.

You’re a strategic thinker with a knack for uncovering actionable insights and applying them to campaign ideas to drive results.

You will partner with our agency and internal cross functional teams to drive campaign initiatives. Today, you could be diving deep into how to provide our customers with the right message, right offer at the right time through key points in their lifecycle.

Tomorrow, you could be partnering with our data science team to deepen your understanding of our customers and refine your segmentation and targeting based on machine learning models and triggers.

The following outlines what you’ll do in this role; however as this is a dynamic portfolio, flexibility is required as responsibilities will evolve over time.

Here's how

  • Shaping and delivering cross brand awareness campaign strategy
  • Building strong partnerships with various internal teams to inject cross brand thinking into all that we do and to deliver on our campaign strategy flawlessly
  • Identifying meaningful customer and business insights to define marketing strategies
  • Evaluating and synthesizing program performance to continuously iterate and improve
  • Sharing out lessons learned to contribute to portfolios beyond one’s own
  • Working closely with our marketing and data science teams to leverage new and emerging capabilities and technology to optimize our campaign performance
  • Working directly with our agency partner to develop eCRM strategy and execution
  • Qualifications

    You're the missing piece of the puzzle

  • Experience working with vast amounts of information from various sources and consolidating / synthesizing into meaningful and actionable insights
  • Experience with crafting a story and communicating with senior leadership and peers
  • Experience planning strategic projects, resolving issues, and delivering on priorities
  • Experience with direct marketing, lifecycle management & marketing analytics
  • Keen interest in solving ambiguous, complex business problems with little precedent
  • Track record of building partnerships and influencing others to get stuff done
  • Great-to-haves

  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Economics or equivalent experience with solid understanding of business strategy principles.
  • MBA considered an asset.

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft (MS) Office Suite : Excel, Word & PowerPoint
  • Ability to use program languages such as SQL, Oracle and Python considered an asset
  • 3-5 years of work experience in a Marketing or Strategy role. Experience in telecommunications or technology industry considered an asset.
