The candidate will be expected to teach first-year general chemistry courses, and instruct first-year chemistry labs and second-year labs as needed in a hybrid teaching environment that will involve face to face and online teaching components.

Candidates must demonstrate commitment to teaching, learning, student success, and safety.

  • Successful candidates will participate in a wide range of activities outside the classroom, including student support; institutional, faculty and departmental committee meetings and other initiatives;
  • and professional activities in keeping with their disciplines in and outside the institution.

    Required Qualifications :

    Ph.D. in Chemistry (or equivalent) from an appropriately accredited institution. Proficiency with common computer technologies.

    Preferred Qualifications :

    Recent relevant teaching experience, familiarity with online instruction.
