Graphics Verification Senior Staff Engineer


As part of the Graphics verification team, you will be involved in the development of AMD’s latest GPU and APU innovations.

You will gain in-depth knowledge of Graphics architecture and work within a highly collaborative team of engineers. By defining and implementing workloads, test sequences, and various verification components, you will be proving complex designs for functional accuracy and performance.


You possess a keen interest in latest technologies and are driven to achieve your goals. You have a strong sense of commitment and can communicate and work effectively within a global team.


  • Provide technical team leadership in the verification of Geometry Subsystem blocks
  • Work with architects to understand the features to be implemented and verified
  • Strategize and define new initiatives for improved verification
  • Define and publish verification plans
  • Create, maintain, and / or enhance testbenches
  • Create and / or enhance tests and functional coverage
  • Review coverage metrics and adjust verification plans / tests / strategies accordingly
  • Coach, mentor and guide team members

  • Proficient in Verilog, System Verilog, UVM, C / C++, and Linux and Windows environments
  • Knowledge of ASIC design and able to debug Verilog RTL code using simulation tools
  • Good knowledge of software and hardware engineering, and excellent programming skills
  • Proven strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Strong command of the English language and strong communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills to function effectively in a team setting
  • Knowledge of and experience with the Graphics pipeline is desirable

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer engineering. Master’s degree preferred.
