The primary focus of this role will be to analyze, build, execute, and manage Toronto, Ontario, Canada strategies & campaigns required to deliver and exceed on the objectives for the residential services business! The candidate will work on developing regional marketing plans for the Internet, TV, Home Phone, and Smart Home Monitoring products.

This position is based in Toronto, with travel to the Greater Toronto Ontario for two weeks per month to share and influence stakeholders with local insights, assess campaign impacts, and bring marketing plans to life.

This is the ideal job for a candidate who can manage multiple tasks, has strong analytical background, marketing experience and likes a healthy balance of strategy and execution.

A strong focus is placed on analyzing and understanding internal consumer & business results as well as market factors to form a recommendation.

The successful candidate will need to lead and influence x-functional teams responsible for the consumer residential business while narrating the marketing story.

Responsibilities :

  • Responsible for revenue and subscriber growth for the Toronto region through targeted marketing campaigns, built on unique, local insights and data
  • Development and execution of marketing plans to drive new customer acquisition and retention for the residential (TV, Internet, Home Phone, Smart Home Monitoring) business
  • Stay informed / educated on the Toronto landscape, market conditions and consumer insights to influence quarterly plans and regional marketing plans
  • Develop and socialize reactive retention strategies specific to regional market conditions
  • Work closely with Sales channels to execute Sales marketing plans and gain feedback
  • Provide relevant insights and recommendations to internal stakeholders to drive business results
  • Spend a significant amount of time in the regional sales and call centre channels with the intent of building cross-functional relationships at the front-line level
  • Own, understand, monitor and track against business objectives related to your regional programs
  • Work with Brand and agencies to develop compelling, regional creatives to appeal to targeted segments
  • Work closely with the research team to gather insights and execute new research initiatives to define new opportunities and craft insight-driven plans
  • Work closely with pricing team on offer and bundle strategies where needed and based on business and market insights
  • While residing in Toronto, travel to Greater Toronto Area one week out of the month (non-negotiable)
  • What you bring :

  • University degree in Business related field strongly preferred
  • 5+ years marketing (planning and execution) experience with large organizations
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to create and present strategic recommendations
  • Strong brief writing skills and masterful at telling a compelling story to drive your programs forward
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral for presentation purpose. Working magic with PowerPoint is key!
  • Strong mix of art (strategy, ideas, evolutions) and science (data insights, business cases, metric achievement)
