The Life Cycle Specialist is responsible for managing a rapid lifecycle transition customer to balance customer needs while minimizing costs.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Comply with IPC safety policies and procedures, personal conduct and housekeeping.
  • Track the development of new products / printed materials to assist in managing all SKU transitions for customer’s diaper and pant products.
  • Work in collaboration with the Customer, Sales, Customer Service, Product Manager, Supply Chain and other internal departments.
  • Facilitate regular working sessions with customer representatives to develop transition / launch plans and forecasts from round to round
  • Manage liabilities related to each round and provide regular updates to the business on disposition plans and cost avoidance opportunities
  • Manage the item level transition plan, compiling finished goods and raw material inventories and coordinate with the Customer Service, Product Management and Planning Team to execute.
  • Manage accurate demand forecasts that incorporate current and relevant market information to predict customer demand andanage accurate demand forecasts that incorporate current and relevant market information to predict customer demand and provide the planning team with the right information to meet that demand.
  • Identify and communicate performance gaps and provide recommendations on areas for improvement
  • Facilitate and lead regular discussions with senior stakeholders to provide status updates and influence business decisions
  • Focus on driving continuous improvement with Demand Plan Accuracy. Identify trends and / or remove bias in customer forecast.
  • Research industry trends and seek benchmark opportunities for understanding market conditions and possible process improvements.

  • Support the company’s strategy of minimizing inventory levels while maintaining high Customer Service level metrics
  • Generate customer liability reports as required and facilitate weekly & monthly meetings with Sales and Customer Service to review customer inventory status.
  • In conjunction with the Life Cycle Planner, develop and communicate to the business forecasted versus budgeted liabilities on a monthly basis reviewing item level variances.
  • Manage item reclassification and initiate Phase outs in Appian to capture product changes and update transition tables for Sales, Planning and Customer Service teams.
  • Develop and track KPI’s to avoid cost and reduce raw material obsolescence
  • Job Requirements :

  • University degree in Supply Chain or Business Management or any related field
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a related field
  • Skills and Knoweldge :

  • Strong attention to detail coupled with solid analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Positive, flexible, can-do attitude
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and JD Edward
  • Ability to provide solutions during difficult situations while maintaining a professional approach
  • Self-starter who takes action and able to work independently
