Job Overview

On April 1st 2016, Sage Products became a part of the Stryker family. Responsibilities for this role include planning, directing, and coordinating the selling of SAGE Products to hospitals and clinicians in accordance with budgeted objectives and to obtain maximum profitability and volume in relation to pre-

set standards. Our ideal candidate will be experienced in or must demonstrate the utilization of a complex, clinical sales approach.

The ability to communicate effectively is key. Strategic and tactical planning is required and strong territory and activities management skills are essential.

This individual will serve as a contributing member of the Stryker Medical team while championing Stryker’s Mission and Values.

Responsibilities Individual Responsibilities :

  • Proactively collaborates with internal teams / departments to promote a culture of inclusiveness and cooperation
  • Responsible to live and exemplify Stryker’s Values : Integrity, Accountability, People, and Performance
  • Functional Responsibilities :

  • Promotes and sells Sage Products
  • Educates and informs doctors, nurses, and appropriate staff personnel as to the proper use and maintenance of Sage products
  • Directs product evaluations.
  • May assist in the preparation and operation of trade shows, conventions, and / or clinical meetings
  • Solves product problems for customers in an expeditious fashion
  • May assist in the training and development of sales personnel
  • Managing and maintaining a sample of inventory of products
  • Must understand and adhere to all hospital and pertinent guidelines when conducting a product evaluation
  • Employee has the necessary authority to execute above mentioned job responsibilities, and will have authority to carry out specific responsibilities defined by quality system documents
  • Employee has authority to recommend and initiate preventative and correction action with regard to product non-conformances and quality system activities
  • Maintain and protect the current base of business ensuring the current business isintact, guarding major accounts and building and maintaining a strong workingrelationship in the territory
  • Grow sales to surpass the previous year’s growth. Sales growth should include allproduct lines. Additionally develop Corporate Account and GPO sales activity
  • Communicate with manager on a regular bases. Be responsible and ensurecommunication on any serious competitive situations
  • Administrative duties include : Weekly sales calls and feedback reports to theRegional Manager; provide various monthly, quarterly and annual reports asrequested
  • Meet and exceed call, presentation and territory goals
  • Organize and plan utilizing Salesforce
  • Extensive product, competitor and market knowledge
  • Travel : o FastTrack and other trainingo Yearly Global Sales Meetingo Regional Sales Meeting (2 times per year)o Territory 2 to 6 overnights per month depending on the territoryo In-
