We are currently looking for an employee champion and business partner to join our Strategy, People and Culture team in the role of HR Manager, for a period of 14 months.
As a Human Resources Manager, you will be the main point of contact for all Human Resource support for Allocadia's team of 100 employees across Canada, the US and Europe.
Reporting to the COO, your main focus will be Recruitment, Employee Relations, Performance Management, Compensation, and Talent Development.
Work directly with the COO to determine HR initiatives and priorities;
Manage the recruitment process; Own and drive 8-10 active requisitions at any given time
Manage the life cycle of the performance management process
Support leaders in establishing clarity about critical roles and drive programs to address retention risks and skill gaps.
Maintain compensation program and annual reviews
Participate in creating and delivering corporate training
Advise and educate employees regarding company programs, benefits and policies;
Provide human resource advice and consultation to employees and management;
Coach and counsel employees and management in the area of employment law, performance management, conflict management and resolution in accordance with company policies;
Ensure compliance with provincial and federal laws and regulations relating to employment standards, human rights, privacy legislation and employment equity;
Completion of a university degree and / or college level Human Resources Management program or equivalent is required;
5-7 years of experience in Human Resources in a Generalist / Business Partner capacity;
2+ years of corporate recruiting experience with a focus on passive candidate generation, engagement and closing strategies, previous sales and technical recruitment experience within a SaaS environment an asset
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
Demonstrated business professionalism, respect for confidentiality and appropriate handling of sensitive information
Ability to juggle many tasks quickly while adapting to new situations
Strong project management skills and effective execution skills to ensure successful delivery / implementation of initiatives and programs.
Experience working in a fast paced technology or start-up environment an asset.
