In this position your primary responsibilities include :
Leads the development of standards, technical architecture, design, development and testing of a data warehouse.
Plans the administration of the data warehouse to ensure that data warehouse solutions provide optimal performance, scalability, flexibility and reliability in data extraction, reporting and data storage
Coordinates the development and implementation of the critical data integration and provisioning such as data warehousing and reporting capabilities including tools
Supervises technical developers and other technical staff on the data warehouse and business intelligence team; plans, prioritizes, delivers and prioritizes multiple data warehouse projects using best practices to ensure consistent, high quality and availability of enterprise data for end-users
Oversees and leads designated staff in the services provided to clients in the acquisition, correlation and transformation of data into insightful and actionable information to enable better and timely business and clinical decisions
Education and experience required :
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Health Information Systems and / or related field.
Seven (7) years’ recent related management experience developing, managing, maintaining and implementing data warehouse components / applications and relational database systems in a large complex healthcare organization
Two (2) years’ experience in a supervisory / leadership role or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
An equivalent combination of education, training and experience is acceptable.
This regular full-time position is based at our Central City offices in Surrey, BC , with access to rapid transit, shopping, restaurants, on-site gym and other amenities.
