Job Description
Under the supervision of the Director of Operations, the Loader Operator picks up and delivers the trailer for the different departments in the yard as well as any other handling of equipment requiring the use of their machine.
They also will weigh various metals as they enter or leave the yard.
Responsibilities :
Transport ferrous materials to the Shredder area
Receive metals and deposit to the designated location
Unload trailer(s) and perform quality control inspection(s)
Transport containers of non-ferrous material
Load ferrous products for customers
Perform hardware identification tests using appropriate magnets or products
Perform inventory of stock according to established schedule
Record and report materials which are entering and exiting the facility
General maintenance of equipment
Any other related tasks requested by the supervisor
Qualifications
Minimum 1 year experience in a similiar role
Class 5 license considered an asset

Schedule : Full time, Monday to Friday
