Inn on the Twenty is seeking a Lead Dishwasher to join their Kitchen Team! The role of the Lead Dishwasher is to supervise and assist the stewarding team to ensure that the dining room and lounge has sufficient supplies of clean dishes, cutlery, utensils and cookware by washing and scrubbing them in a timely and efficient manner consistent with a superior dining facility.
Primary Responsibilities :
Providing personalized and exceptional guest service at every given opportunity.
Prepares schedules for the stewarding department.
Performs administrative duties.
Provides training to new and existing team members.
Washes dishes, utensils, pots and pans as required in the kitchen area.
Keeps work area clean and organized.
Keeps machines clean and clear of food debris.
Ensures that floors are swept and mopped on a regular basis.
Ensures that dish washing machine is working at proper temperature.
Our ideal Candidate will possess :
Previous experience in a kitchen environment.
Supervisory or management experience.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Current Safe Food Handler’s Certificate.
Previous up-selling and / or sales experience is considered an asset.
