The primary function of the Sales SpecialistAppliances is to serve as the store expert on appliances byproviding detailed product information to both customers and otherLowe's employees.
The Sales Specialist Appliances is expected toconduct sales activities and build relationships with customersincluding researching, promoting and recommending products, plans,or installation services that match customer needs, informingcustomers on pricing, options, or status on pending orders, keepingshelves stocked and correctly displayed, and coordinating thesuccessful execution of projects and orders.
This includesperforming order management duties such as entering new orders forcustomers, reaching out to vendors on special orders, tracking andfulfilling orders, and resolving issues.
The Sales SpecialistAppliances is also responsible for providing excellent customerservice through the daily execution of Lowe’s customer serviceprograms, proactively resolving root causes of customer issues,following up on completed orders to ensure customer satisfaction,and assisting customers as needed in locating, selecting, carrying,and loading merchandise.
The Sales Specialist Appliances is alsorequired to maintain a safe and secure work environment bycomplying with company policies and procedures for merchandising,housekeeping, safety, and monitoring for potential theft orsecurity risks.
This includes operating store equipment andsupporting other departments as needed. Lastly, the SalesSpecialist Appliances is responsible for completing all otherduties as assigned.
Requires morning, afternoon, and eveningavailability any day of the week. Required to work a schedule asdetermined by sales, customer, and business needs, but may bechanged by store management based on the needs of thestore.

High School Diploma orequivalent.
1 year external experience in customer facingsales OR 6 months Lowe's retail experience.
1 yearexperience entering and submitting customer sales orders, includingSpecial Order.
2 years experience identifying and sellingproducts based upon customer needs or plans.
2 yearsexperience in providing customer service including identifying andresolving customer complaints, greeting customers, answeringphones, building relationships with customers, and thankingcustomers for their business.
2 years experience followingup on outstanding or incomplete customer orders, sales, orinstalls.
1 year experience promoting product relatedservices and plans such as installation, delivery, creditfinancing, or extended protection plans.
2 yearsexperience in a sales environment with required sales goals ormetrics.
1 year experience sellingappliances.
Lifts up to 40 pounds daily withoutassistance; may lift up to 100 pounds with or withoutassistance.
The Sales Specialist Appliances may berequired to perform job activities, with appropriate intermittentrelief where applicable, under difficult work conditions such as inextreme cold, heat, inclement weather, at heights, while exposed toconstant / intermittent sounds (if applicable).
