Construction Coordinator

Our client is a busy General Contractor focused on building or restoring public facilities. They are seeking to fill a full-

time position coordinating construction projects under the job site's Project Manager.


The Project Coordinator will be in the office as well as in the field. He / She will have the following tasks :

Lead the Health & Safety program of the project.

Ensure that all projects are built according to the approved plans, specifications, design drawings, and applicable codes.

Ensure that high-quality standards are maintained.

Develop, maintain, and drive the construction schedule in conjunction with the project team, ensuring project milestones and completion dates are met.

Supervise project field employees and sub-trades, making sure their work is planned and performed efficiently, to achieve all required project deliverables.

Mentor project team members in order to contribute to their development and career growth.

Lead project meetings for the Owner, Client, and / or Consultant in order to monitor and support the project's ongoing progression.

Perform other related duties as required.


College or University degree in a related field.

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

COR knowledge or certification.

Familiarity with specs provided by Architectural firms, Structural, Mechanical & Electrical Engineers, Landscape Architects, etc.

Health & Safety standards.


Minimum 5 years of Canadian experience in a similar role.
