  • Appuyer la mise en œuvre de nouvelles normes comptables (p. ex. IFRS 9, IFRS 15 et IFRS 16).
  • Soutenir la préparation et la prestation de formations.
  • Préparer des notes comptables concernant le traitement comptable d'opérations complexes.
  • Participer à l'analyse du cahier d'investissement jusqu'à l'opérationnalisation des opérations.
  • Soutenir la gestion et les filiales dans le cadre de projets spéciaux ponctuels.
  • Participer aux examens analytiques pour la haute direction et les filiales.
  • Travailler en étroite collaboration avec la haute direction et les filiales.
  • Communiquer avec plusieurs intervenants clés, y compris les auditeurs, au besoin.
  • Exigences

  • Accréditation à une association de comptables (CA, CPA, CMA ou CGA)
  • Connaissance technique des normes IFRS 9, 15 ou 16 ou désir d'apprendre, un atout
  • Cinq années d'expérience acquise dans un poste au sein d'un cabinet d'experts-comptables ou dans un poste semblable
  • Capacité de réussir dans un contexte de délais imposés par un environnement au rythme rapide
  • Excellentes aptitudes pour l'analyse et la communication
  • Approche axée sur les résultats et grand souci du détail
  • Capacité de trouver des solutions et d'effectuer des recommandations en sortant des sentiers battus
  • Solides compétences relationnelles et capacité manifeste à communiquer efficacement des idées et des actions aux salariés de l'entreprise à tous les niveaux de celle-ci
  • Excellente connaissance d'Excel de Microsoft Office
  • The IFRS specialist will support the IFRS Leader to transition the Defence and Security division to IFRS 9, 15 and 16 as well as participate in the analysis of complex transactions and ad hoc special projects.

    A successful candidate likes a fast-paced environment and face challenges.


  • Supports in the implementation of new accounting standards (ex : IFRS 9, IFRS 15 and IFRS 16);
  • Supports in preparing and providing training;
  • Prepares accounting memos addressing the accounting treatment of complex transactions;
  • Participates in investment book analysis all the way to operationalizing the transactions;
  • Supports management and subsidiaries with ad hoc special projects;
  • Participates in analytical reviews for upper management as well as subsidiaries;
  • Works closely with upper management and subsidiaries;
  • Communicates with several key players, including the auditors, as needed
  • Requirements

  • CA, CPA, CMA or CGA accounting designation
  • Technical knowledge of IFRS 9,15 and / or 16 would be an asset, or an interest to learn
  • Five (5) years of experience in an accounting firm or similar position
  • Ability to thrive in an often fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Results-oriented with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to find solutions and make recommendations by thinking outside of the box
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to effectively communicate ideas and actions to people at all levels of the organization
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel
