About the Opportunity
Our well-established, national association client in downtown Ottawa is looking for an IT Support Specialist. Reporting to the IT Manager, this individual will join a small IT team that supports internal users with both on-
site and virtual technical support. This position will be responsible for the maintenance and user support for all-thing IT infrastructure related;
Bilingualism (French & English) is an asset, but not a requirement.
Duties include but are not limited to :
IT / technical support (level 1-3) for all internal users
Overall maintenance and support of internal Windows servers
Installations, configurations, and maintenance of new software / hardware
Troubleshooting of devices (laptops, mobile phones, tablets, etc.) and other hardware
The successful candidate will have the following :
University degree or diploma in Information Technology, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
1+ years of technical support experience in a Windows environment (Windows 10, Windows Server 2008 / 2012 / 2016, Active Directory, Exchange, etc.)
Bilingualism (French + English) is an asset, but not a requirement.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Attitude and aptitude takes precedence over a perfect technical match.
